In my artistic practise I am in constant search for better understanding of the world that I live in. This normally manifests itself in a research of different forms of exposed public situations/performances, institutional installations or recorded personal adventures.
Moving between the worlds of painting, music, acting /performing, moving image (video, cinema, animation) and installation allows me to make my critical practice uniquely interdisciplinary. The challenging and demanding nature of my work reflects my commitment not only to a self-sufficient individualist practice, but rather to curious and honest openness towards team-work, always backed up by high level of responsibility and professional attitudes in activities that comprise a group engagement and collective endeavour. My interest in twentieth-century European and North American visual arts (and in particular the legacy of popular culture and comics, intertwined with my experiments around the position of an individual in the world fictionalized by media), provides a rigorous framework and point of departure for my overall artistic project that remains inseparable from building up my own lifestyle under conditions of constant thinking, acting, and communicating through images.
