My final work is a video site installation. An exploration on video related to a specific site. The viewer is confronted with a visual situation, a play between pre-existent memories and newly generated images. Basically my intention is to produce a sort of dialogue between the projected image and the ‘existent’ images on site. The story is developed in a way that the image starts as a recognizable visual situation, which then by digital ‘alteration’ or decontextualization becomes pure visuality. Then the viewer is confronted with a situation of gradual disappearance and reappearance of arecognizable image. The artificial manipulations are a kind of ‘pollution’ of the image. Induced entropy allows the genesis of another image.

My intention is to generate a visual situation were the viewer will be confronted with interpolation between presence and absence of the real, the video would show an ‘alteration’ of the preexistent image (photography from pre existent wall’s crack and prints) first as a recognizable image and along the motion of the video loop this image would be ‘alterated’ through digital manipulation and overlapping of another footage, then the image would became unrecognizable the viewer would be confronted visually with a process of continuous construction and destruction of the visual field.
